Narrative Summary
ecrash- On 12/11/19 @ approximately 0950 hours I was dispatched to a single vehicle crash. Vehicle was southbound on HWY 101 milepost 150 when vehicle crossed the centerline and drove through northbound lane. Vehicle struck earth embankment, numerous mailboxes, bushes, and a stop sign on the northbound shoulder. Vehicle overturned and came to a rest on its top facing northeast on the northbound shoulder. Seal Rock Fire personnel extricated driver from vehicle. Driver was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. Driver was issued a citation for failure to maintain lane. Vehicle was towed by Rowley’s towing. ODOT and Lincoln County Sheriff personnel assisted at the scene.

Narrative Summary
Complainant reported that he was eastbound on SR Hwy 6 waiting for oncoming traffic to clear when his pickup was rear ended by another eastbound vehicle. When he pulled to the shoulder, the vehicle that rear ended his pickup left the scene eastbound on SR Hwy 6. The complainant was unable to provide the make/model, color or license plate for the suspect vehicle. The complainant stated he did not need medical attention as a result of the crash. He also stated his vehicle was drivable and had only cosmetic damage to the exhaust system and shock absorber mounts. No DMV crash report was completed for this incident, and a case number was provided to the complainant.

Narrative Summary
**eCrash Report** On 12/13/19 at approximately 09:33 AM, Unit #1, a maroon 2002 GMC Yukon was southbound on SR-229 near milepost 14. After negotiating a curve, the vehicle drove off the western shoulder of the roadway and continued up a sharp embankment. The vehicle rolled off the embankment and came to an uncontrolled rest on its top, blocking the northbound lane of travel. The driver and sole occupant was wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured during the crash. The driver reported falling asleep prior to the incident. A check of the driver’s license status showed that his privileges were suspended-violation level. The driver was issued violation citations for Driving While Suspended and Failure to Drive Within Lane. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Car Care Tow Pro of Lincoln City. The Oregon State Police was assisted at the scene by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, and ODOT Incident Response.

On 12/14/2019 at approximately 10:00am, a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy discovered an intact black bear carcass and two processed bull elk carcasses off of U.S. Forest Service road 5360 near Waldport. Shortly after, an OSP Fish and Wildlife Trooper arrived and recovered evidence at the scene. The black bear was left to waste after being harvested. The investigation is ongoing.

Narrative Summary
On 12/14/2019 at 11:54 AM Oregon State Police received a report of lost property in Waldport near the beach access off of SW Sherwood Ln. The owner was contacted via her husband’s phone at 12:16PM, there was no answer. The husband called back at 12:37PM, and I talked to the owner of the lost phone. According to the owner, the phone was a Samsung Galaxy S6, with a rubber pink Otter box case. The owner valued the phone at $700, and the pink case at $60. According to the owner, she attempted to locate the phone via a find my phone app, but was unable to locate it. She was unable at the time to remember the serial number on the phone, but would call back when she found it. The investigation is currently on-going.

On 12/15/2019 an intact deceased cow elk was discovered off of Gopher Creek Road near the junction of Hilltop Road in Lincoln County. The cow elk was killed within the last two weeks and left to waste. Investigation is ongoing.
