Lincoln County is on the market for a consultant to help it develop housing for all income levels.
The county announced Monday it is looking for a team or individual that can help it identify properties to develop as affordable, workforce and market-rate housing. The consultant should also be to perform basic due diligence on properties, identify funding opportunities, court developers and work with local nonprofits and governments. The county is especially looking for a contractor with experience in rural communities.
The ultimate goal of the project is to help the county, cities within it and local nonprofits create more housing units. The deadline for proposals is April 14. More information on the county’s request for proposals is available on its website.
