I contacted the complainant, who stated that she was calling on behalf of her friend, who had a restraining order against her former domestic partner. They advised me that they had attempted to leave the park but did not feel safe doing so with the suspected respondent parked next to them. I contacted the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on my way to the state park in an attempt to confirm the restraining order. The restraining order has yet to be served to the respondent. As I arrived, the suspected respondent was no longer at the park. I advised the complainant and her friend that they were now safe to leave.
