NEWPORT — The public is invited to help raise funds for heart health equipment at the 40th anniversary gala and auction of the Pacific Communities Health District Foundation. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Samaritan Center for Health Education.
The evening will feature a champagne social, live music by the Pacific Standard Time trio, cuisine from Side Door Café and a live auction. Proceeds will help purchase heart health equipment for Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport.
Tom Hagg of Yachats, who is among the patients who have benefited from local Samaritan cardiac care, will be featured in a “Gifts from the heart” video.
Tickets are priced at $175 each, or $1,400 for a table of eight. Seating is limited, and reservations must be made by Wednesday, Nov. 22. To buy tickets, visit the event website.
“Since 1983, community members have partnered with our foundation to raise funds for important projects that build healthier communities,” said foundation director Karla Clem in a release. “We invite you to join us as we celebrate 40 years of giving.”
