A story teller will perform at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23 at the Yachats Library as the culmination of a seven-week summer reading program for children.
But the performance by Tracy Chipman, a former Oregon storyteller now living in Wisconsin, is appropriate and open to all ages, said librarian Janet Rackleff.
Participants in the library’s summer reading program are finishing up at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 with a performance by Michael Bradley, a guitarist and puppeteer from Eugene.
Chipman is giving performances in Eugene and Florence as well. Her website is https://www.listentoatale.com/
