Samaritan Health Services is offering four flu shot clinics this month for Lincoln County children and adults. Appointments are not needed, and vaccinations will be given on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. Insurance will be billed.
The clinics are:
Friday, Oct. 11: A pediatrics-only flu shot clinic will take place from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1-5 p.m. on the second floor of Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport. It is open to children 6 months old through age 18.
Sunday, Oct. 13: An all-ages drive-through flu shot clinic will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at Samaritan Medical Plaza, 3100 NE 28th St., in Lincoln City directly south of Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital. It is open to children and adults ages 6 months and older who have been a Samaritan patient in the past three years. A high-dose vaccine will be available for people 65 and older.
Friday, Oct. 18: An all-ages flu shot clinic is planned from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 5 p.m. on the second floor of Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport. The clinic is for anyone age 6 months and older. A high-dose vaccine is available for people 65 and older.
Saturday, Oct. 19: SamCare Mobile Medicine will be parked at the Samaritan Center for Health Education from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for an all-ages flu shot clinic. The center is directly west of Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital. Covid-19 vaccinations will also be available at this clinic.
