On Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at approximately 7:30 P.M. Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a two vehicle crash on Hwy 18 near milepost 35.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a black 1994 Honda Accord, operated by Kyra Loucks (32) of Sheridan, was eastbound on Hwy18 when a westbound white 1995 Honda Civic, operated by Evan Anderson (27) of Willamina, attempted to turn left, into a business driveway, in the path of the Accord.
Loucks was not seriously injured in the crash,
Anderson and front seat passenger Jeramiah Villarreal (34) of McMinnville were transported to Salem Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The two passengers in the backseat of the Civic, Ralph Lehn (35) of McMinnville and Claudia Barclay (49) of Eugene, sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased.
Hwy 18 was closed for approximately four hours.
