Narrative Summary
On 6/4/2021 hours, at approximately 1553 hours, I checked the speed of Vehicle 1 at 83 mph in a 55 mph zone on SR-18 near mp 10 in LINCOLN COUNTY. As I turned my patrol vehicle around, the vehicle accelerated away from me and my radar indicated a speed of 97 mph. I began heading west, saw a large amount smoke, skid marks, and the same vehicle crashed in the ditch on SR-18 near milepost 8.5. Driver 1 lost control of the vehicle, and began to rotate and went off the roadway. As Vehicle 1 was rotating, it struck the left rear wheel of Vehicle 2. Ultimately, Driver 1 admitted to driving. Driver 1 was cited for Reckless Driving, DWS-Misdemeanor, No Insurance, 97 mph in 55 mph zone, and Failure to Install Ignition Interlock Device. Vehicle 1 was towed from the scene by CarCare and taken to their lot. Vehicle 2 was operable. The passenger in Vehicle 1 was transported to North Lincoln Hospital as a precaution.

Narrative Summary
eCrash – On 6/4/21 at approximately 530PM an eastbound vehicle unit 2 white Chevy Cobalt stopped to turn left into a parking lot. Unit 1, Ford Focus, did not stop in time and collided with unit 2. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage. Vehicles were towed by Car Care Tow Pro. Passenger in unit 2 was taken to the hospital by Pac West ambulance for evaluation. North Lincoln Fire assisted at the scene.

E-Crash: A motorcycle was being operated northbound and while coming through some S curves had lost control and went off the right shoulder of the road. The operator was on the motorcycle alone and had friends/family nearby riding with her. The operator was transported by ambulance for treatment. AAA Tow advised Florence RV was coming to remove the motorcycle.

Narrative Summary
On 6/5/21 at approximately 10PM a subject reported being struck by a motor vehicle while riding his bicycle. Conflicting reports location at or near milepost 5 of Highway 18, possibly in a private driveway. Bicycle is described as a steel gray Mongoose mountain bike with green lettering. Lincoln County Sheriff Deputies and Oregon State Police conducted an extensive search of the area and bicycle was not located. Victim suffered significant injuries and was hospitalized. Victim was in and out of consciousness but reported he and the bicycle were thrown over a guardrail. Victim made his way to a nearby residence for assistance. If bicycle is located please contact Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office or Oregon State Police as soon as possible.

Narrative Summary
E-Crash: A Toyota Highlander was being driven northbound on US-101 traveling into Waldport. A Toyota Sienna was being driven southbound on US-101 and turned left into the Highlander at SW Waziyata Avenue. The driver and passenger of the Highlander were transported with minor injuries to the hospital in Newport. The driver was the only occupant of the Sienna and was issued citations for driving without insurance, driving while suspended, and taking a dangerous left turn. The Sienna was towed by Rowley’s Towing. The Highlander was towed by Last Resort Towing.
