Narrative Summary
E-Crash: Unit #1 was southbound and pulled onto the northbound shoulder to check his mail. After checking the mailbox he took a left turn onto Montana Street. While he took the turn Unit #2, a northbound traveling bicyclist, struck the rear portion of Unit #1. Rider of Unit #2 was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

Narrative Summary
***eCrash Report***On 09/13/19 at approximately 17:51 PM, Unit #1, an Orange 2016 Jeep Renegade, was eastbound on SR-18 near milepost 8. The driver of Unit#2 was stopped and signaling to make left turn into a private drive. Unit#1, a maroon 1998 Toyota Corolla was eastbound behind Unit #2 did not stop and crashed into the rear of Unit #2 at approximately 45 MPH. Three occupants of Unit #2 sustained minor seatbelt and airbag injuries and were later transported by private party to Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital. The occupants of Unit #2 were uninjured. During the investigation it was determined that the driver of Unit #1’s driving privileges were violation level suspended. Unit#2 also did not have liability insurance for the vehicle. The front of Unit #1 sustained heavy crash damage and was towed from the scene by Lincoln City Towing at the driver’s request. Unit #2 sustained damage to the rear and was not drivable. Unit #2 was towed from the scene by Car Care Tow Pro of Lincoln City. The driver of Unit #2 was issued citations for Careless Driving, DWS-violation, and Driving Uninsured.

**eCrash Report** On 09/14/2019 at approximately 10:59 AM, Unit#1 a white 35’ Gulfstream motorhome was stopped on Minor Park Road near milepost 155 on US Highway 101. Unit #1 was attempting to turn northbound onto US Highway 101. Unit #2 was southbound on US Highway 101 after turning southbound from NW Bayshore Drive. The driver of Unit#1 believed Unit#2 was slowing to turn onto Minor Park Road and pulled onto the highway. Unit#2 did not turn and continued southbound and struck the rear driver’s side of Unit#1. Unit #1 came to a controlled rest along the east shoulder of US Highway 101. Unit#2 came to a controlled rest along the west shoulder of US Highway 101. At the request of the driver of Unit#2, Waldport Tire and Auto was dispatched to remove the vehicle. Unit #2 was able to drive away from the scene under its own power. The driver of Unit#2 was transported to Pacific Communities Hospital via ambulance with minor injuries.

Narrative Summary
On 09/15/19 at approximately 1108 am, Unit #2, a silver 2005 Honda Odyssey van was stopped for other westbound traffic waiting for a vehicle to turn onto Bear Creek Road. Unit #1, a blue 2004 Dodge van was westbound behind unit #2 and did not stop for the vehicle’s ahead. Unit #1 collided with the back of Unit #2. Both vehicle’s came to rest blocking the westbound lane of travel. The driver of Unit #1 was transported to Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital. Three of the occupants of Unit #1 fled the scene on foot but were later contacted by OSP. There were seven occupants of Unit #2, and all were uninjured. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Car Care Tow Pro. The driver of Unit#1 was later interviewed at the hospital and was cited for Careless Driving and No Oregon Operator’s License.

Narrative Summary
On 09/15/19 at approximately 15:09 PM, the Oregon State Police came upon a single vehicle motor vehicle crash along US Highway 101 near milepost 125. The vehicle, a green 2003 Chevrolet S10 pick-up truck had lost control while heading northbound near Fogarty Creek State Park. The vehicle struck a tree along the east shoulder of the roadway with its passenger side. The vehicle also destroyed two utility junction boxes as it came to rest partially resting on the sidewalk along the east side of the highway. Initial investigation indicates the vehicle owner was driving at the time of the crash around 1350 PM and was possibly impaired. The driver left the scene and was not located at this time. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Car Care Tow Pro and the investigation is on-going a this time.

Narrative Summary
On the evening of September 15, 2019, the Oregon State Police assisted the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office after a Sheriff Sergeant observed an active disturbance taking place in the parking lot of the Otis Post Office near a vehicle between a man and a woman. LCSO conducted a domestic assault investigation and learned the man and woman recently arrived at the location from a nearby wedding before getting into the argument. LCSO asked OSP to handle the DUII aspect to the investigation. The driver was identified through witness statements and evidence seen inside the vehicle. The driver showed numerous signs of impairment. The driver was transported to the Lincoln County Jail by LCSO where the DUII investigation continued. The driver refused to participate in field sobriety tests as well as provide a breath sample. A search warrant was applied for and obtained for the driver’s blood which was executed on behalf of Pac-West Ambulance. UNIT 1 (black Mazda sedan) was towed from the scene by Car Care Towing. The driver was lodged in the Lincoln County Jail after being charged with DUII – Alcohol and DWS Misdemeanor.
