Narrative Summary
eCrash – On 6/4/20 at approximately 330AM a westbound vehicle left the roadway near milepost 10 of US Highway 20 and crashed into trees on the westbound shoulder. Driver contacted a local resident who drove him to the hospital for evaluation of a broken collarbone and other unknown injuries. I contacted the driver at approximately 5AM and subject performed field sobriety tests. Subject told me he fell asleep prior to the crash. Subject was not arrested for driving impaired. Subject was issued citations for failure to drive within lane and failure to install an ignition interlock device. Coast Towing removed the vehicle from the trees.

On 6/4/20 at approximately 7AM a vehicle parked at the Moolack Beach parking lot was targeted, windows broken and items removed. OSP and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded. Items taken included a cooler containing food items, a teal colored shopping bag and backpack containing sketchbooks and drawing pencils and a phone charger. Photographs were taken and a case number was provided.

Narrative Summary
OSP received a call about a reckless driver who had driven the reporting party off of the roadway to avoid a head-on collision. OSP Trooper’s located the involved suspect driver. During contact signs of impairment were observed. During voluntary field sobriety tests additional indicators were observed. The driver was arrested for DUII, Reckless Driving, and Reckless Endangering. The driver provided a breath sample indicating a 0.27% BAC. The driver was cited in lieu of custody to her sister. Her vehicle was towed by Coastal Towing for safe keeping.

On 06/06/2020 at approximately 14:53 PM, an Oregon State Police Trooper located a suspect vehicle at a Lincoln City Shell gas station located at 1410 SE Highway 101, Lincoln City, OR. The vehicle was involved with a previous theft report to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, case # 20S-01275. The occupants of the vehicle were contact and interviewed. Unit #1 (white Chevy Malibu) was southbound on US-101 while Unit #2 (2001 Dodge Ram) was behind Unit #1. Just prior to entering Lincoln Beach Unit #2 struck the driver’s mirror of Unit #1 and did not stop. The driver of Unit #2 came back and then left again. During contact with the driver of Unit #2 signs of impairment were observed. The driver was arrested and had provided a breath sample indicating a 0.14% BAC. Narrative Summary
**e-Crash report** On 6/07/2020 at approximately 12:09 OSP responded to a crash that occurred on US-101 milepost 167.5 near Thor’s well. Unit #2 (a black Ford Edge) was making a left turn into a paved parking section, when Unit #1 (a red Mazda MZ6) collided into the rear of Unit #2. The driver of Unit #1 was inattentive, and driving too fast for conditions. No occupants of Unit #2 were injured, and the driver of Unit #1 was uninjured. OSP was assisted by ODOT during the crash investigation. There was no public property damage. The driver of Unit #1 arranged her own tow with Florence RV and Automotive Towing. OSP assisted with calling a tow for the driver of Unit #2. Unit #2 was towed by AA Rowley’s Towing. The driver of Unit #1 was given a warning for VBR ORS 811.100.

On 6/8/20 at approximately 1:18 am I contacted a gray Honda Civic on a routine traffic stop on US 101 near mile post 139. Upon contact the juvenile driver exhibited numerous signs of impairment. He consented to and performed poorly on SFST’s and was taken into custody for DUII. He was transported to Lincoln County Jail where he provided a breath sample rendering a result of .17% BAC. He was cited and released to the care of his parents. The vehicle was towed from the scene by AA Rowley’s.

Narrative Summary
On 06/08/2020 at approximately 11:28 AM OSP responded to a driving complaint regarding a green Ford Escape driving erratically. The driver was reported to have consumed alcohol prior to getting in the vehicle. OSP found the vehicle and initiated a stop at approximately 11:44 AM. The driver displayed signs of impairment, including a flushed red face, slurred incoherent speech, and bloodshot watery eyes. There was a total of four occupants inside the car, the adult female driver, an adult male passenger, and two children. The driver consented to Standard field sobriety test. During the tests, many signs of impairment were observed. The driver was then transported to the Lincoln County jail for a breath test. The driver’s BAC was 0.32%. She was then given a courtesy transport back to her residence, and issued criminal citations for DUII-alcohol, and three counts of recklessly endangering another a person. A neighbor was contacted, and picked up the driver’s vehicle.
