Narrative Summary
On 6/2/21 at approximately 11:18 am I was dispatched to a driving complaint of a white Dodge Avenger (CA 6XIZ634) westbound on SR 22 failing to stay within its lane. I located the vehicle westbound on SR 18 and observed the vehicle weaving badly before I conduct a traffic stop in Lincoln County near mile post 10. The driver appeared impaired and admitted to using prescription medications and methamphetamine. He stated he was experiencing a mental health crisis. The driver consented to and performed poorly on SFST’s. He was taken into custody for DUII. During a vehicle search I located methamphetamine, unprescribed Xanax, prescribed medications and numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia. The driver was transported to Lincoln City Police Department where he consented to a breath and urine test. The driver was transported to North Lincoln Hospital at his request and cited and released for DUII – Controlled Substances and Reckless Driving.

Narrative Summary
On 6/2/21 at approximately 8:20PM I received a call from an off-duty deputy regarding a reckless driver passing in a no-passing zone near milepost 147 of US Highway 101. Another caller reported similar behavior. Subject vehicle was described as a red or maroon colored Chevy Malibu. At approximately 8:30PM I observed a dark red Chevy Malibu driving south over the Alsea Bay Bridge. I checked the vehicle speed at 89, then 88 miles per hour. I stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver for reckless driving. Driver was cited and released due to Covid jail restrictions.

Narrative Summary
Property Damage Report: A 1995 Ford 1500 was parked at the Four Winds Motel. While it was being worked on by an individual in the process of purchasing the truck it rolled over the curb and rolled down the embankment crashing into the front right portion of a parked 2013 Ford 1500. Neither vehicle was being driven at the time. Information was exchanged. Car Care Towing arrived and removed the 1995 Ford.

eCrash – On 6/3/21 at approximately 5:20PM a driver in unit 1 turned north from Otter Crest Scenic loop onto US Highway 101 near milepost 131. A southbound unit 2 black Toyota Matrix collided with unit 1 gold Chevrolet pickup. No injuries were reported. Vehicles blocked both northbound lanes of US Highway 101. Rowley’s Towing removed unit 2 and Car Care removed unit 1. Driver of unit 1 was issued a citation for failure to obey a traffic control device. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and Depoe Bay Fire assisted at the scene.
