Narrative Summary
ecrash only: The northbound driver of a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe lost control while negotiating a curve on SR-229 near milepost 21 and rolled onto its driver side in the northbound ditch. The driver and passengers were uninjured and transported from the scene by a passerby who later contacted police. The driver also contacted police and provided her contact information. Troopers responded and initiated a crash investigation. The driver arranged for their own tow.

***LOG ONLY*** On 01/06/22 at approximately 2:38 PM, Oregon State Police stopped to assist a disabled motorist on US-101 around milepost 120. Vehicle #1 (beige motorhome) was on the southbound shoulder with another vehicle in front trying to get it started. Registered owner of the motorhome was counseled to not abandon it along the highway.

Narrative Summary
On 01/07/2022 at approximately 8:35PM a vehicle was traveling westbound on Highway 34 before turning south onto John Street in Waldport. The driver of the was detained due to a firearm laying on the floor board of the vehicle after the driver denying any weapons in the vehicle and showing signs of impairment. The Driver was then asked to consent to Standardized Field Sobriety Test which the driver demonstrated. The driver was arrested for DUII and the vehicle was released to mother in lieu of being towed. The Driver was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where the driver was asked to submit to a breath sample. The driver provided a breath sample of 0.22% BAC and was cite and released for DUII. The Firearm was then returned to the owner.

On 01/09/2022 at approximately 10:08AM it was reported that there were nails and screws laid across Highway 101 in the southbound lane, Three Rocks Road and up by the Neskowin RV Resort in their entrance on both 01/05/2022 and 01/09/09 by ODOT. The nails were cleaned up by ODOT so there was no longer a hazard.
