Traffic Crimes – All Except DUII
Location 160 NW 25TH ST, NEWPORT, LINCOLN OR USA 97365
Narrative Summary
On 12/07/2020 at approximately 6:57 PM, I was on duty in uniform driving a marked patrol car near the intersection of NW Lighthouse Dr. in the city of Newport. I observed a dark blue Ford F-150 pullout from that intersection and travel south. I was traveling south and got up behind the truck. The truck was unable to maintain its lane. I activated my emergency lights and the truck pulled into the Walmart Parking lot. The truck did not stop, and the driver jumped out and ran from me. I told him to stop but he kept running. The other occupants had to stop the truck, and I detained and interviewed them. The driver was described as a white male, 5’5”, 210lbs, blonde/brownish hair, and had brown eyes. He was wearing a grayish purple hoodie and jeans. The driver is still at large.
