E-Crash: Unit #1 was driving westbound on US-20 near milepost 9.5 when a bear came into her lane of travel. The bear was struck and ran off. The driver pulled over and had a tow arranged once Toledo Police Department had arrived to assist. No injuries occurred and no property was damaged.

On 8/14/20 I stopped a vehicle reported to be associated in a domestic violence situation. The male driver provided a false name. Driver denied any involvement in violence with the female passenger. The female passenger was asleep in the rear of the vehicle and reported no issues with the male subject. Driver had outstanding, non-extraditable warrants from Oklahoma for Burglary. Driver was cited and released for providing false info to a police officer after reporting his true identity.

Narrative Summary
On 08/14/2020 at approximately 11:11 AM, the Oregon State Police responded to a report of a disabled vehicle on OR-180 near milepost 2. The vehicle was reported to have been broken down at that location for several hours prior to the call for service. The vehicle, a green 1999 Honda Civic was located unoccupied at the location. The vehicle was left partially blocking the westbound lane of travel. Rowley’s towing of South Beach responded and towed the vehicle as a hazard.

E-Crash: A 1992 Oldsmobile 88 was traveling southbound on US-101 and near milepost 161.5 had driven into the southbound ditch. The driver was alone and was uninjured. The driver requested a tow with Coast Towing which the fire department called. The driver was issued a citation for driving while suspend, driving without insurance, and failing to drive in his lane. An exchange of crash report information was left at the front door of a nearby residence whose mailbox was struck.

Narrative Summary
On 8/15/20 at approximately 7:21 pm I was dispatched to assist Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office to attempt to locate a white sedan involved in a minor crash which occurred on Barclay Meadows Rd in the Tidewater area. I located the described vehicle as it was pulling out of the Flounder Inn Tavern parking lot onto US 101. I contacted the vehicle on a routine traffic stop for observed violations. Upon contact with the female driver I observed several signs of impairment and she admitted to recently drinking alcohol. The driver consented to and performed poorly on SFST’s. She was taken into custody for DUII and transported to Lincoln County Jail where she consented to a breath test rendering a result of .14% BAC. The driver was cited and released. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Rowley’s Towing.

**e-Crash**On 8/16/2020 at approximately 4:37 AM, OSP received a report of a single vehicle crash that occurred on SR-18 MP 7. I arrived on scene at approximately 6:11 AM. Unit #1 (gold Mercedes sedan) was traveling west on SR-18, when the driver said he was experiencing trouble with steering his vehicle. Unit #1 then lost control and rolled several times before impacting a Pacific Power utility pole (pole #252340). The driver was uninjured, and Car Care Tow Pro towed the vehicle.

Narrative Summary
On the listed time and date the Oregon State Police responded to the report of a non-injury crash near milepost 125 on Highway 101, Lincoln County, Oregon. A blue Ford Truck towing a camp trailer was unable to stop and struck a maroon Toyota Highlander that was stopped on the highway and attempting to make a left turn. During the investigation it was discovered that the operator and passenger of the Toyota Highlander had active arrest warrants and an active no contact order. The operator was arrested and lodged at Lincoln County Jail on the no contact order and one of the warrants. The passenger was issued criminal citations and released in lieu of custody.

**Log only**On 8/17/20 at approximately 2:05 PM I was dispatched to a crash near mile post 150 on US-101. The report was of a single gray sedan with unknown plates, swerving on the road prior to crashing into a sign. The sign damaged was “NW Ocean Vista Ln”. The vehicle had left the scene prior to my arrival in the area. Construction workers on N. Beaver Creek did not see any vehicles matching that description, and I did not find the suspected vehicle in Ona Beach State park.
