Narrative Summary
On 4/27/2020 at approximately 12:03 AM, OSP responded to an agency assist with Newport regarding a Silver Ford Flex crashing into a power pole prior to NW 11th St on HWY 101. During the investigation, the driver was lethargic and slurring her words. The driver consented to perform SFST’s with OSP. During the tests, the driver displayed impairment. The driver was arrested for DUII, Reckless Driving, and Criminal Mischief II. She was transported to Lincoln County Jail for a breath test. The driver had a BAC of 0.00%, and consented to providing a urine sample. The driver was then cited and released.

Narrative Summary
On 4/27/2020 an anonymous passing motorist observed a subject angling on the Salmon River and notified OSP NCC Dispatch. Trout and Steelhead season on the Salmon River is currently closed per ODFW Angling Regulations. The subject was later contacted and not observed angling at the time. The subject stated he did not have an angling license. The subject was camping on USFS property near the Highway 101 Bridge along the Salmon River. Upon inspection of his temporary campsite, the Trooper observed numerous deer and elk skulls throughout his campsite and attached to his bicycle. The subject told the Trooper he had picked them up from along the Highway and taken possession of the animal skulls to collect. The deer and elk skulls were seized as evidence and the subject was warned for the listed charges.
