The Small Business Development Center at Oregon Coast Community College has announced a series of workshops for business owners this spring.
There will be two training workshops on how to use Excel. A basic workshop is Wednesday, April 5 and a “tips and tricks” workshop is Wednesday, April 19. Both are offered online via Zoom.
The term will also offer OCCC business adviser Wendy Ludwig’s “Starting a Business in Lincoln County” workshop Tuesday, April 4, in Newport.
Also back by popular demand is Aaron Nobles, who will teach effective management and use of Google business profiles. His class will run two Mondays, April 17 and 24, in Lincoln City.
And, this term marks another first for the OCCC’s business center – three foundational workshops delivered in person, entirely in Spanish. The topics include how to start a business, record keeping requirements, and financial literacy. All three workshops will be in Lincoln City on April 6-7, by Carlos Mendoza, a business adviser and instructor working with clients at business centers at Clackamas and Columbia Gorge community colleges.
