Featured Demonstration:
The American Red Cross will set-up a simulated shelter operation where fair attendees can:
- Walk through shelter, see cots and layout
- Go through the check in process and talk with Red Cross Volunteers
- Learn what shelter occupants should bring with them when evacuated from their homes and the items that will be provided to support them at the shelter

Public Safety and Preparedness Partners:
Local public safety and preparedness representatives will be on hand to help guide attendees and answer the “How to?”; “What if?” and “Why should I?” questions they may have. Local vendors will have emergency readiness kits, gadgets, nutritional items, etc. to look at, purchase and/or order. I believe this this event been moved to the Armory since the Animal Shelter is still occupying the fairgrounds space.
