FLORENCE – Beginning Monday, it will be easier to get around Florence – and make connections to and from Yachats or Eugene.
The Lane Transit District is increasing the frequency of bus stops around Florence from one hour to every 30 minutes because of increasing post-pandemic ridership, the agency said in a news release.
Rhody Express buses travel a north and south loop around the Florence area, serving locations such as Florence Food Share, Three Rivers Casino, Old Town Park, Peace Harbor Hospital, and the Siuslaw Public Library. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
People traveling to or from the Eugene-Springfield area to Florence can use the Link Lane bus, which drops riders at the same Grocery Outlet location where Rhody Express and the Florence-Yachats Connector have stops.
