LINCOLN CITY – Travelers on Oregon Highway 18 east of Lincoln City will face some lane closures and detours the first two weeks of April as Oregon Department of Transportation crews make repairs from a landslide during February’s wind, snow and rainstorms.
ODOT will be removing rock from a landslide that had closed Highway 18 two miles east of U.S. Highway 101.
Although times and days may vary depending on the weather, the work is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily April 3-13 or until rock removal is completed. Work may continue during the weekend of April 8-9. During work hours, expect to stop for flaggers during lane closures or to take a detour for full closures of this highway section.
