The month of June in Yachats may have seemed damp, but it was just shy of normal in terms of rainfall.
There were 2.44 inches of rain measured at the city’s wastewater treatment plant in June, slightly below the 10-year average for June of 2.76 inches.
For the first six months of 2020, the city has received 37.15 inches of rain, just below the 10-year average of 38.90 inches.
For the 2020 calendar year, there were 5.48 inches of rain in Yachats in May, 3.33 inches in April, 4.09 inches in March, 7.29 inches in February and 14.52 inches in January.
