Julie Elizabeth Davies
Julie Elizabeth “Jooge” Davies of Yachats left this earth free from pain on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 with her son, Daniel Orange, by her side to comfort her. She was 61.
Julie was very special to anyone that crossed her path. She was born with the gift of writing and loved singing and creating masterpieces of art. Her passion for others will never be forgotten and she was known as “Mom” to many people.
Julie put her heart and soul in all she did, employed by the Adobe Resort in Yachats for many years where everyone was her family, and until her illness kept her from doing what she loved.
She left behind to carry on her legacy her brother Russell Davies (Beverly) of Bryan, Ohio; son Daniel Orange of Eugene; stepdaughter Jennifer Lakia of Monclova, Ohio; stepson Michael Orange II (Samantha) of Ann Arbor, Mich.; grandchildren Austin Carter of Eureka Springs, Ark., Kyle Carter, Gentry Carter and Alayna Lakia of Monclova, Ohio, nieces Carolyn Grimes (Joe Nehmer) of Wauwatosa, Wis., Emily Monroe (Matthew) of Bryan, Ohio, and nephews Russell Davies (Angela) and Evan Davies (Jessica) of Bryan, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by father, Russell Davies Sr., mother, Mary Jane Davies, and sisters, Kristine Orange and Midge Hoskins.
A special thanks to the wonderful family of Lisa Fogg in Yachats for opening their hearts and homestead, supporting Julie and helping Daniel in her final days. They made her transition from life peaceful and that’s what she deserved. The world is a better place with your selfless love. Julie’s family cannot thank them enough for all they did.
