Dr. Stephanie Allison Bosch

Stephanie Bosch, 32, of Waldport, died Oct. 13, 2021, at Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport of a pulmonary embolism.
She was born on Sept. 5, 1989, in Portsmouth, Va. to Ron and Jennifer Bosch.
Stephanie Bosch spent her early childhood in Bakersfield, Calif. When she was 13, her family moved to Texas where she later attended college.
Stephanie was as bright and colorful as her wardrobe and provided a one of a kind light. She recently found a deep spiritual connection in her process of converting to Judaism and developed a strong bond with her new Jewish family. She loved plants, animals, her family and friends, rainbows, and unicorns.
She was a doctor at Samaritan Waldport Clinic of Family Medicine and loved her community and being a doctor to her patients.
She graduated from Schreiner University in May 2011; attended Samaritan Regional Medical Center-Family Medial Resident, June 2015 to June 2018; University of North Texas-Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, May 2015, and graduated as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
Stephanie was a member of the Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority and Beit Haverim Reform Jewish Congregation. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephew, family and friends, Taco Bell lunches at Agate Beach, forced cuddles with her Rizzy dog, gaming with her brothers, reading, an occasional Netflix binge, and various arts & crafts.
Stephanie is proceeded in death by her grandmother Janie Martinez, grandfather, Fredrick Roquel Ferris, aunt Rebecca Conner, cousin Christopher Bosch, aunt Kathy Bosch, and her beloved dogs, Flower and Munequita.
She is survived by her parents, Ron and Jennifer Bosch of Houston; siblings Mathieu and Laura Potter Busch of St. Helens, Marc Bosch and Jeremy Nicholas of Houston, Martin and Laura Currie Bosch of Portland, and Taryn Grey of Waldport; grandmother Iris Rudene Ferris of Bakersfield; cousins Kristi and Mike Hardison of San Diego, Elizabeth and Jarrell Johnson of Salem, Heather Bosch of Salem, Cyndle Bosch of San Bernadino, Calif., and Nicholas Ferris, U.S. military; nieces and nephew, Lilith Bosch, Rosalind Bosch, Bryson Johnson, and Kirielle Bosch; aunts and uncles, Randal Ferris of Bakersfield, Randy and Chin Bosch of Trona, Calif., Flower Star of Renton, Wash., Timothy Ferris of Arkansas, Rodger Bosch of Bishop, Calif., Bonnie Sotelo of Grants Pass, Johnny Wallace of Sylmar, Calif., and Debra Walker of Santa Maria, Calif.
A Jewish memorial ceremony for Stephanie was held on Agate Beach in Newport, on Wednesday, Oct. 20. Everyone in attendance was asked to wear bright colors of the rainbow to honor Stephanie, as they were her favorite. A wake reception immediately followed at Alsi Resort in Waldport.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Civil Liberties Union and/or Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in honor of Dr. Bosch.
