FLORENCE – A 74-year-old Florence man was killed Tuesday, Jan. 7, when he lost control of his Ferrari GTB, crashed into a guardrail and overturned on Highway 126 eight miles east of Florence.
Oregon State Police said that Victor J. Cianci was westbound at a high rate of speed about 3 p.m. when the Ferrari crossed the center line, struck a guardrail, and overturned and landed in a pond. The highway was impacted for approximately two hours during the investigation.
Florence radio station KCST/KCFM reported Tuesday that Cianci had recently purchased the Ferrari, was an active member of the Florence community and had owned and operated a successful chain of Blockbuster Video stores in the 1990s and early 2000s.

I avoid that highway because of careless clueless drivers.
