WALDPORT — The Lincoln County Parks Department and Oregon Marine Board are holding an online meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday to discuss the future of Don Lindly Park along the lower Alsea River.
An in-person meeting scheduled last week was postponed because of the snow storm and is now scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday, March 16 at Central Oregon Coast Fire and Rescue’s station in Waldport.
County parks and the Oregon State Marine Board are seeking comments on a redesign for a boat launch and parking lot planned for the largely undeveloped park along the Alsea River at milepost 7 on Oregon Highway 34. The county can’t get permits for the most recent design because the proposed parking lot would encroach on mature wetlands.
