(ecrash) On 8/2/22 at approximately 6:09 am I was dispatched to a single vehicle crash, involving a gray Toyota Tacoma (876MRX) which occurred on US 20 near mile post 4. The Toyota was westbound and approaching the intersection of Tom Jack Rd when, for an unknown reason, it veered off the westbound shoulder into a deep drainage ditch. The vehicle continued up out of the ditch, across Tom Jack Rd, and down into an adjacent field, coming to an uncontrolled rest against a fence. The driver was transported to Pacific Communities Hospital for complaint of pain. The vehicle was recovered from the scene by Coast Towing. Fatigue was believed to be a contributing factor in the crash.
