Registration is open for the 9th Annual Cape Perpetua Land-Sea Symposium, which is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18 and again this year will be held online.
Presenters for the virtual event include Mark Hixon, talking about Coastal Connectivity: John Muir was Right; Dorothy Horn, speaking about the impacts of microplastics on nearshore marine organisms; Scott Heppell, discussing the role Oregon’s estuaries play in the recruitment of early life stages of rockfishes.
The session will also include a welcome address by Rep. David Gomberg, D-Otis.
