Narrative Summary
On 1/19/21 at approximately 10:21 pm I was dispatched to a single vehicle crash which occurred on SR 229 near mile post 10. A red Ford sedan (213CVX) was southbound and negotiating a curve when the driver lost control and crashed into an earthen embankment on the southbound shoulder. During a crash investigation it was discovered a juvenile passenger had been injured in the crash and transported from the scene prior to law enforcement arrival. The driver exhibited numerous signs of impairment and admitted to using cannabis earlier in the day. The driver consented to and performed poorly on SFST’s. The driver resisted arrest as he was taken into custody. The driver was lodged in Lincoln County Jail on charges of DUUI – Cannabis, Reckless Driving, Reckless Endangering, Assault IV, Unlawful Delivery of Marijuana and Resisting Arrest.

Narrative Summary
eCrash – On 1/21/21 at approximately 3PM a southbound red Ford F150 crossed over three lanes of traffic, and into the northbound shoulder and crashed into the Alsea Bridge northbound retaining wall. Driver then drove the vehicle one block and parked the vehicle on private property. Front left wheel of the vehicle was disabled but driver continued on driving. Vehicle smelled of alcohol. Female driver fled the area. Driver was identified by several witnesses. Driver will be charged with hit and run, abandoning an automobile, driving suspended misdemeanor level and reckless driving. Property owner was notified.

Narrative Summary
I stopped the subject of a driving complaint on highway 101 near milepost 130 in the northbound lanes after observing the driver swerving over the double yellow and fog line several times. The driver showed signs and symptoms of impairment and agreed to perform voluntary verbal and physical field sobriety tests. The driver failed the tests and was arrested and transported to the Lincoln County jail where they provided a breath sample with a result of .23% BAC. The subject was transported to their residence where they were released on citation for DUII/Alcohol.
