In response to several requests the past year, YachatsNews has expanded its advertising options to begin offering classified ads.
This is an alternative to the larger, longer running and more expensive “display” advertising already found on the site.
The new classified ads are designed to help local businesses to get the word out on job openings, for people to sell stuff, and for south Lincoln County residents or businesses to offer personal services like landscaping work, repairs, errand-running and the like.
And it’s cheap – but still able to reach the more than 1,000 people per day who look at YachatsNews’ website.
A four-line classified ad that appears on the YachatsNews homepage for seven days will cost just $10. Other add-ons, like a photo or logo or extra lines of text, carry a small additional cost.
And it can all be done through the website. Go to the “Coastal Classified” advertisement on the right side of the homepage, click on it, and then go to the bottom of the rate sheet to fill out the form. All details – design, placement and collecting money – for the ad is being handled by BlueSprocket Brokerage, which currently also takes care of display advertising for the site.
