Quinton SmithGary Cleasby of Yachats leads members of the Pacific Coast Wind Ensemble through a series of holiday music Saturday from the engine bays of the former Yachats Rural Fire Protection District station on West Second Street. Unable to give a more formal, inside holiday concert this year because of the coronavirus pandemic, the ensemble decided to perform at the open bays of the fire station while an audience outside — all properly distanced, of course — watched, listened and clapped.
