The Federal Emergency Management Agency on Thursday opened an office in the Lincoln City Outlet Mall to assist Otis-area residents affected by the September wildfire that tore through the area. The agency is also helping people affected by the high winds of Sept. 7-8.
The site offers in-person visits for people to get information about their application, ask questions about letters they receive from FEMA, and have their documents scanned to be part of their application.
Hours of the outreach site is 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The office is in Suite 200 of the outlet mall, 1500 S.E. East Devils Lake Road.
People affected by the fire and wilds can visit the office for in-person help. However, they can also apply for assistance or update an application in the following ways:
- Call FEMA toll-free at 800-621-3362 (TTY: 800-462-7585). The toll-free telephone lines operate from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.
