Narrative Summary
**e-Crash**On 7/21/20 at approximately 12:10 PM OSP received a report of a vehicle crash on US-20 MP 20. I arrived on scene at approximately 12:26 PM, the vehicle involved was a white Ford F550 utility truck bearing a WA Plate of C92257C (Unit #1a). The truck was pulling a two wheel utility trailer bearing a MT plate of 7FR54 (Unit #1b). Unit #1a was traveling west on US-20, when it drove onto the fog line’s rumble strips, this caused the trailer to fish tail. Unit #1a lost control of trailer, and it jackknifed sideways and collided with Unit #1a’s rear passenger tire well. Unit #1a came to an uncontrolled rest in the eastbound lane of travel. Unit #1a was damaged but drivable, however the trailer lost its right wheel and had to be towed from the scene by Coast Towing. The driver was uninjured, and the highway was restricted to one lane of travel for approximately two hours. There are gouges on the roadway, and slight damage to a guardrail, ODOT was notified. ODOT and Toledo Fire dept. assisted with traffic control.
