Oregon State Police is asking for help identifying the person or people responsible for the unlawful killing and waste of a 5-point bull elk near Toledo in east Lincoln County.
On Jan. 8 state police fish and wildlife troopers were notified by a land owner of a dead bull elk found left to waste near Hidden Valley Road in Toledo. Investigation revealed the elk had been killed by a high-powered rifle.
